# Alfalyzer

> Fundamental research and market-neutral long/short pair trading for private
> investors. Intrinsic value from our own model, 40 years of fundamentals,
> cointegration-tested pair ideas, and a portfolio that prices in one currency.

Alfalyzer is a consumer SaaS. Anyone can create a free account, which opens
three companies of their choosing in full; the paid plan opens every company
Alfalyzer covers, the pair board, alerts and the MCP server.

## What Alfalyzer is

- **An intrinsic-value engine.** Our own model, recomputed daily from published
  filings, with the gap between price and estimate shown as a percentage.
- **Fundamentals with depth.** Income statement, balance sheet, cash flow,
  ratios and key metrics, annual and quarterly, going back 40 years.
- **A screener** across sectors, industries and curated themes (robotics,
  artificial intelligence, defence, nuclear energy, water).
- **A pair engine.** Long/short candidates that have passed a cointegration
  test, with the hedge ratio that makes the position market-neutral, the
  z-score of the spread and its historical half-life.
- **An MCP server**, so the whole thing can be used from Claude, Cursor,
  VS Code, Gemini CLI, Codex or ChatGPT.

## What Alfalyzer is not

- **Not a brokerage.** Alfalyzer executes no trades, holds no funds, and is
  connected to no broker.
- **Not investment advice.** It is a research tool, not a regulated investment
  firm.
- Model outputs are estimates. Past performance does not predict future
  returns.

- **Five tools**: `alfalyzer_screen_companies` (which companies to look at),
  `alfalyzer_value_company` (is one cheap or expensive, and why),
  `alfalyzer_find_pairs` (market-neutral long/short ideas),
  `alfalyzer_my_portfolio` (the person's own holdings), and
  `alfalyzer_record_positions` (the only one that writes: it records holdings,
  never deletes, and places no orders).
